Superbills & Insurance Reimbursement
Sunshine RD LLC is a private-pay practice and does not bill Medicaid or other insurance directly. While some nutrition services may be covered under Medicaid or other insurance plans when provided by enrolled providers, patients who choose to work with Sunshine RD LLC agree to receive services on a self-pay basis. Neither Medicaid nor any other insurance will be billed for these sessions.
Upon request, I can provide a superbill, a detailed receipt that includes the necessary diagnosis and procedure codes for nutrition services. Patients may submit the superbill to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Please note:
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance plan’s benefits.
Payment to Sunshine RD LLC is due in full at the time of service, regardless of whether your insurance reimburses you.
It is the client’s responsibility to check with their insurance provider about coverage for nutrition services.
